How to Vote
Only Penn State graduates can vote in the alumni election. Both nomination and election ballots are automatically sent to members of the alumni association and alumni who have donated within the past two years.
If you graduated from Penn State and didn’t automatically get one, send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, address, graduation year and degree, asking for a ballot. Be sure to check your spam folder. (My nomination ballot hid from me for several days before I found it).
The election process
Three alumni seats on the Board of Trustees are up for grabs this year. To appear on the ballot, candidates must garner 50 nominations from qualified alumni using the official, online nomination form by Feb. 25. Nominated candidates will be revealed on Feb 28, and election ballots will be sent out on April 10. Alumni will have until May 2 to submit their votes.
